Come join us for awesome sport fishing on the Mulchatna River.  Located in the Bristol Bay area of western Alaska, the Mulchatna River feeds the mighty Nushagak River, which boasts some of the highest salmon runs in the world.  The Mulchatna River is a breeding ground for all five species of pacific salmon as well as world-class rainbow trout, Dolly Varden, grayling and pike.  We've got it all - quality, quantity, variety and we are the only established lodge on the Mulchatna River with easy access to the Koktuli and Stuyahok rivers.

The Nushagak and Mulchatna river system had a very healthy King Salmon return last year.  We enjoyed really good fishing throughout the season, after many of the rivers in Alaska were closed early in the King runs.  Our King return for the 2012 season was 110,177 fish, while the Kenai River produced 19,892 king salmon.  This resulted in Alaska Fish and Game department closing the King season on the Kenai very early in the run.  Many other well-known rivers were closed during the 2012 King Season.  The entire Susitna drainage was closed to King Salmon fishing and the Deshka River produced only 14,088 king salmon.  The Copper and Yukon rivers were also closed during the 2012 season.  We anticipate another excellent run in 2013.
